Fabric: Cotton 棉質面料
Characteristics:
- Cool, soft and comfortable.
- Absorbs and releases perspiration quickly, thus allowing the fabric to breathe. This makes cotton cool in the summer and warm in the winter.
- Durable.
- Can wrinkle easily.
- There are many varieties of cotton. Each has a distinct structure in how the cotton is woven which gives the fabric unique qualities.
Care Instructions:
- Machine washable.
- Chlorine bleach can be used to restore white garments to a clear white but bleach may yellow chemically finished cottons or remove color in dyed cottons.
- Cotton can be ironed at relatively high temperatures.
棉花具有很強的親水性，因此吸濕本領大。在溫度20攝氏度和相對濕度65%，吸濕率可達7%。人們穿純棉的服裝，如夏天的T恤衫，它可以吸汗來調節皮膚的溫濕度，使人感到舒適。
棉花在水中能膨化，膨化後比原來大50%左右，長度也伸長1%~2%，這樣的變化十分重要。第一是染色時有利於染料向纖維運動而著色第二是有助於洗衣服時，汙物從衣服上脫離。但是有利必有弊,這種變化也造成純棉衣服洗後易起皺變形，有時還能產生令人頭痛的縮水。棉花的耐磨性較差，它與滌綸混紡雖然可以提高強度，但實際上這種強度只是暫時性的，穿著後棉纖維就慢慢受損脫落。
通過對各種纖維的比較，棉纖維對人體健康的安全係數最大，這對保護我們的健康十分重要。
